Have you ever felt stuck at a crossroads, circling in confusion, second-guessing yourself, waiting for clarity to come before you move forward? I know that place well. For years, I believed I needed proof or confidence before I could make a decision. What I’ve learned—and what I now teach—is that clarity does not come before the decision. The decision itself is sacred. It is the catalyst that moves the energy, signals the universe that you’re serious, and collapses the delays that keep you stuck.
I call this the first step in my M-O-V-E process: Make a Decision.
When you sit in indecision, your energy is scattered. You stay caught in a loop of self-doubt, waiting, and hesitation. But when you decide—and own that decision 100%—something profound shifts. Suddenly, the universe rushes in with resources, opportunities, and support. It can’t do that if you’re wavering. Your destiny doesn’t chase you. It waits for YOU to move.
One of the most powerful stories that inspired me early in my journey was Jack Canfield’s. Before Chicken Soup for the Soul became a worldwide phenomenon, Jack and Mark Victor Hansen were rejected 144 times. They almost went bankrupt. But here’s the difference—they decided. They committed fully to their vision, no matter how many doors slammed in their faces. That unwavering decision is what carried them through until the breakthrough came.
I’ve had my own defining decision moments. Early in my career, I launched a spiritual community center called Hope House. People were showing up. The community loved it. But behind the scenes, I was exhausted, misaligned, and running on empty—mentally, emotionally, and physically. After only 18 months, it looked like I was going to have to close the doors. I remember standing there, key in hand, ready to lock up for the last time. From the outside, it looked like failure. People told me to quit, to get a “real” job, to be practical.
But that was my Jack Canfield moment. Something inside me shifted. I got grounded and declared, “I am doing this. I choose myself. I choose my path.” That sacred decision marked the turning point. Within minutes, support and solutions began to show up in ways I never could have orchestrated on my own. Eighteen years later, I now have a thriving global business doing the work I love. And it all started with that one decision.
This is why I teach that decision is not just practical—it’s spiritual. A decision made from your soul collapses timelines, aligns your energy, and calls your destiny forward. But remember: a decision isn’t truly made until you take an aligned action.
So I’ll ask you today: Where in your life are you waiting for clarity, proof, or confidence before you decide? What if you stopped circling and simply said, I choose this. I choose me. I move.
Your destiny is waiting.
